The Pioneer Mobile Robot is a product of ActivMedia Robotics. This robot client software will operate on a Linux platform. The robot has two main programming languages. PAI (Pioneer Application Interface) is a library of C functions that command the robot. Saphira is a robotic application development environment that supports higher-level functionality. The graphical window of the display module is created using the X-windows language. The software is a development package for the Real-Time Computing Lab of Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi.
